The website has been quietly doing its work in the background: helping people find the brews, read the labels, check where to buy, and understand why our kombucha tastes the way it does.
This month, that quiet work picked up a small badge with a big meaning. Ayu & Co. has received the June 2026 TopWeb.LK badge and has been shortlisted for BestWeb.LK 2026.
For a drink brand built around living culture, that feels right. The website is part of the culture too. It has to be clear, fast, honest, easy to use, and useful whether someone is discovering kombucha for the first time or looking for one exact bottle before heading out.
What TopWeb.LK looks for
TopWeb.LK is a monthly award scheme powered by the LK Domain Registry. It evaluates .lk websites across the things that make a digital experience feel considered: technical completeness, performance, design, content, security, and a little room for useful extras.
That matters to us because a website is not just decoration. It is part of the promise. If the bottle says raw, living, craft-brewed kombucha, the digital home should carry the same care.
The TopWeb.LK process looks at practical details too: completed pages, working links, accessible information, clear navigation, mobile responsiveness, SSL, privacy, and basic security. They are not glamorous words, but they are the things that make a site trustworthy.
On to BestWeb.LK 2026
Winning the TopWeb.LK badge has also placed us in the running for BestWeb.LK 2026, Sri Lanka’s national web design competition for .lk websites.
BestWeb.LK is not just a beauty contest for websites. The judging process includes technical performance, content, design, security, and public rating stages. For 2026, the competition timeline runs through evaluation and final judging before the awards ceremony in August.
So this is a thank you and a marker in the road. Thank you to the people who built, tested, corrected, rewrote, resized, checked, and pushed the site until it felt like us. Thank you to everyone who visited, shared, and told us when something could be better.
Why we care
We care because the online experience should not feel separate from the bottle in your hand.
It should have the same rhythm: tropical but not noisy, bold but not careless, alive but not messy. It should help you move from curiosity to first sip without friction.
There is still plenty to improve. There always is. But for now, we are taking a moment to enjoy this little badge, then getting back to the work.
The brew keeps moving. So should the website.
