Better.
Live Lighter.

Sustainability is not a marketing slide for us. It is the only way we know how to make something worth drinking. Local ingredients. Living processes. Zero shortcuts. No greenwashing.

Brewed Local, Sourced Closer

Our Ceylon green tea comes from highland gardens less than a hundred kilometres from the brewery. Our mangoes, passion fruit, hibiscus, lemongrass, nelli and butterfly pea come from gardens, fences and trees we can name. If we can source it without a shipping container, we do.

02 cycle

Wild Fermentation, Not Factory Production

We do not use chemical accelerators, synthetic probiotics, or lab-grown flavour packets. We brew tea, drop in a living SCOBY, and let nature do the rest. The process is slower. The result is real. The waste profile is a fraction of industrial kombucha production.

03 recycling

Glass Bottles. No Plastic. No Compromise.

Every bottle we ship is glass. Not aluminium. Not plastic-coated cardboard. Not a can lined with who-knows-what. Glass is heavier to ship. It is also infinitely recyclable, chemically inert, and keeps living cultures alive. We think that is worth the weight.

Raw Bee's Honey, Not Refined Sugar

We do not dump cheap refined sugar into our brew to speed things up. We finish with raw bee's honey from local hives. It costs more. It also supports pollinator populations, carries trace enzymes and antioxidants, and tastes like something that came from a flower, not a refinery.

05 psychiatry

Never Pasteurised. Always Alive.

Pasteurisation kills the cultures that make kombucha worth drinking. It also extends shelf life artificially, which encourages overproduction and waste. We bottle alive, ship fresh, and trust that a living product deserves a living timeline.

06 eco

Zero Artificial Anything

No artificial colours. No artificial flavours. No preservatives. No "natural flavours" that came from a lab. If the ingredient does not grow, we do not use it. The garden wall is our flavour department.

The best sustainability is making something that does not need an excuse.

We do not claim to be perfect. We claim to be honest. Every bottle of Ayu & Co. kombucha is brewed with ingredients we can trace, processes we can defend, and a footprint we try to shrink every season. If you have ideas on how we can do better, we are listening.

Taste the difference honesty makes.

Real ingredients. Real fermentation. Real sustainability.
